Traps, Tricks & Mistakes: Trap and Counter-Trap
Today’s example is a mix of two traps: Noah Ark’s Trap and Fool’s Trap. Black plays for Noah Ark’s Trap, but White surprises him with a counter-trap.
A chess player may know many traps but as you see here, sometimes two o more of them may come in a sequence. Be alert and don’t lower your guard after setting a trap because maybe your opponent has an ace upon his sleeve.
