Game Spotlight: 2019 Rwabushenyi Memorial 2

After participating in the 2019 Rwabushenyi Memorial Open in Kampala, Peter Gilruth sent in two games.  This second selection is the more instructive of the two.  (The other selection is here.) Endgames tend to be a weakness of many players, and this is a good example of a basic Rook endgame.  This type of endgame shows up the most (aside from endings with only Kings and pawns), so it’s essential to know how to handle this if you want to play well.  With endgame analysis from Peter Gilruth:
