Traps, Tricks & Mistakes: Dubious Attack
As a beginner, I felt a special attraction for the violent gambit attacking lines and the surprising combinations in openings starting with 1.e4. I felt fascinated for the so-called Moller attack.
The Moller attack is an aggressive line by White over the kingside simultaneously attacking opponent’s minor pieces. However, I later discovered that with precise play, this line only leads to a draw. In addition, Black has several opportunities to equalise.
The Moller attack is actually a threatening line that requires accurate moves from Black’s side.
