It is generally accepted that the probability to make mistakes when playing blitz is higher than when playing classical games. The immediate consequence of the previous statement is to prepare a selected collection of traps in order to catch the opponents is such games.

Nevertheless, less common is to catch the opponent without help of a trap. More unusual is when the caught player is a titled master. And even more astonishing is when that player was completely unaware of what was going on.

Today’s game corresponds to a team blitz competition. Both players were titled masters. The game started as a Two Knights Defense and White outplayed his opponent in only eight moves.

Notice that when playing blitz, if your opponent chooses an opening or a line which you are not familiar with, you will not have enough time for thinking. Because of that, it is advisible to avoid piece trading in order to keep chances in the upcoming fight.
