Traps, Tricks & Mistakes: Hallosar Trap

Today’s trap appears in the Blackmar-Diemer Gambit when playing the Ryder Variation.

When playing a gambit, the player offers some material (usually a pawn) in order to get fast development. In Hallosar trap, White offers not only one, but two pawns. If Black is greedy, he/she will face unstoppable checkmate threats.

A good trap for blitz players.
