Game Spotlight: 2019 Kenya Premier Chess League, More from Week 1

Of course, every game the Nairobi Chess Club played during the first superweekend of the Kenya Premier Chess League wasn’t a win.  Here’s an interesting loss from down the boards.  While Black falls behind in the middlegame, with three pieces still on the board it seems the game should be possible to save.  The challenge is figuring out how.

As the Le Pelley Cup was this past weekend (games from the tournament start next week), we’ll be analyzing a selection at the club this weekend.  Come by to see what happened, and bring your own games if you played.
